Bromcom is an EdTech company, with a modern Sales and Marketing department, which seeks to ‘Win the hearts and minds’ of our existing and future customers at every touchpoint. To do this effectively, Bromcom needs a person to take ownership of the marketing activity that creates and distributes content, and reports on these efforts.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work to a process, all whilst adhering to Bromcom tone of voice.

The Bromcom Mkt team wants to

  1. Start more conversations with prospects (increase volume and quality of leads)
  2. Influence opportunities with those prospects (increase rate of conversion to sale)
  3. Be viewed as a Thought Leader in the Education sector. A trusted advisor to our audiences

Working with the marketing and sales teams, the Marketing Executive will support these aims by creating regular marketing activity across all channels and platforms, and reporting on results. This will include making calls with customers and writing up those conversations into a variety of formats (e.g., blogs, user stories, case studies), and ensuring a regular supply of quality content that communicates Bromcom points of difference in the market.


  • Responsibility for planning and delivering content to support marketing plan
  • Manage weekly blog schedule, so there is a forward plan of added value content and agreed authors
  • Emails to prospects and customers
    • Monthly Bulletin (newsletter) and sales and marketing campaigns to target areas
    • Create audiences, create written content, create visual content
    • Reporting results and advising of improvements
  • Social media use, both owned and paid, supporting Digital Marketing lead:
    • curate and provide content for Bromcom channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Bromcommunity) and external channels (e.g. Edugeek)
    • Provide content for use on community hubs and forums (Bromcommunity, Edugeek)
  • Contacting and calling customers to conduct reviews of their buying experience, and seek case studies, user stories where applicable
    • Schedule, conduct calls and create reference write ups
  • Update website (WordPress CMS) with content
  • Film, edit and publish videos online, including event speakers and customer interviews
  • References and Testimonials:
    • Working in collaboration with other Bromcom departments (Sales, Customer Services), produce a content library of customer references and testimonials

Job requirements

  • Qualification in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in producing high quality written content
  • Familiar with design and publishing tools; able to produce strong and on-brand visual content and video
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to generate and execute new ideas for marketing content and communitations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and self motivation skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Passion for education and technology, and a desire to learn and grow with our company
