Content and Communication Specialist

As market leaders in Management Information System (MIS) for schools throughout the UK, we are actively seeking a Content Communication Specialist to join our expanding team. Ideal applicants will either be individuals considering a career change or ex-teachers with school leadership experience in 'schools EdTech'.
We want individuals who are challenged by creating high-quality and engaging content to drive business success, who enjoy being part of a successful Marketing team and want to take ownership for developing and implementing the overall content strategy based on Bromcom's specific goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create content each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness
- Experience in creating various types of content such as ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs, etc.
- Manage and develop a blogging strategy
- Grow our subscriber base
- Work with designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and other industry experts
- Adhere to the internal policies and procedures
- Research and Competitor Analysis
- Creating an Editorial Calendar
- Content Creation
- Knowledge about content marketing matrix
- Content Performance Monitoring and Analysis
- Design content specialist and set short-term goals
- Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
- Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content
- Develop editorial calendar and ensure deadlines are met
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members
- Edit, proofread and improve content
- Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
- Analyze web traffic metrics
- Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
- Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
Job requirements
Requirements
- BA/BS degree (ideally in Marketing or Journalism) or equivalent working experience
- Over 3 years of experience in producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Past experience building audiences either online or offline
- Experience in producing smart CTAs according to the visitor lifecycle stage
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Critical-thinker and problem-solver
- Proven work experience as a Content Specialist
- Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software
- Understanding of web publishing requirements
- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
- Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
- Expertise in social media platforms
- Project management skills and attention to detail
